Dear Reader, I am pleased to introduce you to a precious sister and fellow blogger in Christ, Cindy from the USA. Although her main focus is to encourage other ladies Cindy’s in her daily scripture posts they are a blessing to many guys too, me included. It is clear when I read Cindy’s writing that she is a keen student of God’s Word, and has a fervour to share it with her readers. I recommend her blog Real Christian Women to you regardless if you are man or woman. I hope that you are blessed and challenged by Cindy’s guestpost today!
You have probably noticed that the teachings of the Bible have become politically incorrect. This is a relatively new thing. When I was growing up, Judeo-Christian beliefs were generally accepted. We knew that a man was a man and a woman was a woman. A man couldn’t get pregnant, and you couldn’t just decide to be something else and change your pronouns. We knew that homosexuality was a sin. The Bible was accepted as THE source of Truth.
But in today’s world, it has become unacceptable, if not dangerous, to speak the Truth on these matters. In fact, the freedom of speech, which was once held dear, has been replaced with a new rule: “If you don’t agree with me, you’re a hater and you spread lies, so you must and will be cancelled.” But the Bible says,
“Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.” Isaiah 5:20 (NIV)
Many Christians have begun to bend with the wind. The pressure of our culture has convinced them to serve the god of this world. But the Bible says,
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2 (NIV)
It will only become increasingly difficult to stand with the Truth of God’s Word. If you can’t stand now, how will you stand later?
God warned Jeremiah,
“If you stumble in safe country,
how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?” Jeremiah 12:5 (NIV)
We must make a choice. Will we trust in God or will we allow ourselves to bend in the wind?
“… Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve … As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 (NIV) Read full chapterYouTube Video

We are not to be politically incorrect or correct. We are to have the “politics of heaven”
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ
Philippians 3:20
It’s no accident that when Paul says citizenship, he uses a word from which we get out word politics (πολίτευμα, politeuma).
Our “politics” are to be in heaven. From heaven. That puts us above local and national political partisanship. There should not be any “us against them” emotion or thinking.
