If any pastor claims to follow Christ but refuses to tell people what the Bible actually says about sexual immorality, that’s not preaching that’s taking the Word of God and twisting it until it sounds like what people want to hear, all for personal gain while knowingly misleading those who are looking to you for God’s truth and telling them a lie straight out of the pits of Hell. Real love always tells the truth with love and compassion, even if it’s initially painful to hear.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Paul wrote to the church at Corinth, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.”
The Good News is Christ has the power to transform form anyone who will surrender their life to Him. Look at verse 11, “1 Corinthians 6:11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”
You wouldn’t trust a doctor who lied to you about a serious medical condition but protect your feelings, so why trust a preacher who is straight up lying to you for financial gain?
God does love you but He will not accept your sexually immoral lifestyle but He will forgive you you and make you clean.
