What is God Like?

God wasn’t just aware of me, he knew me—by name.

6 min read

As a child, I remember wondering “What’s God like?”

Then in my middle school years, some friends invited me to their church. It was here that I heard that God wasn’t just aware of me, but he knew me—by name.

But what was truly unexpected was when I heard Jesus’ description of God—and God’s over-the-top affectionfor us. Jesus told it in the form of a parable.

And it is life-changing.
