Spring: God Makes All Things New
Spring is such a beautiful reminder that God is always at work—bringing life out of what looked empty, warmth after cold, and hope after long waiting. Here’s a personal reflection you can use or share:
Spring whispers a quiet promise: nothing stays barren forever. Trees that once looked lifeless begin to bud. Fields once frozen soften with new growth. What seemed dormant was never dead—just waiting for the right season.
Sometimes our hearts feel like winter too—silent prayers, delayed answers, weary faith. But spring reminds us that God specializes in renewal.
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” – Book of Isaiah 43:19
God’s timing is like the seasons—intentional and faithful. Even when we don’t see growth, He is working beneath the surface.
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” – Book of Lamentations 3:22–23
Spring teaches us to trust the process of becoming. Buds don’t bloom overnight. Growth is gradual. Renewal is often quiet.
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” – Book of Ecclesiastes 3:1
If you’re in a season of waiting, trust that roots are growing deeper.
If you’re in a season of blooming, give thanks.
If you’re coming out of winter, take heart—spring is proof that God restores.
This spring, may you notice the small blossoms in your own life: new peace, fresh joy, restored hope.
Heavenly Father,
As the earth awakens in spring, awaken my heart in love.
Where winter left coldness, plant warmth.
Where there has been hurt, grow healing.
Where love has felt distant, bring it near again.
Just as flowers turn toward the sun, turn my heart toward You—
the source of all true love.
May this season not only change the landscape,
but also renew my capacity to love deeply, freely, and faithfully.
As new life blossoms around me, let compassion bloom within me.
Lord, teach me to love patiently and kindly.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
