Praying Scripture – Now to Him

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, – Ephesians 3:20

Sometimes, life gets so tough that you know you need to pray, but your words fail you. When you don’t know what else to pray, try turning to the Bible and pray scripture.

Turning God’s Word into a first-person prayer can get you through some of your darkest times.

God, I know you are far more able than I am. Guide me on the right path that you would have me go. Open the doors that you want me to walk through in accordance with the power you have to work through me. In Jesus’ Name — Amen

Bradley Hilton has always been a believer; it was in 2000 that he reaffirmed his faith and went all-in for Jesus. He felt a nudge from God to start a men’s group in his church. Influenced by this group he began a regeneration process that changed his life for a more active service for God. He began a newsletter to encourage others. Its growth resulted in a blog, The Daily Dose – Daily inspiration from God’s Word. Bradley and his wife, Michelle, share life together in Texas with their four children and two grandsons

I pray, but I also meditate. When I really need help, I turn to God in my meditations and He lifts my soul.

Bradley Hilton grew up in the church and has always been a believer; it wasn't until 2000 that he reaffirmed his faith and went all-in for Jesus. At that point his life was transformed and he felt a nudge from God to start leading a men's group in the church. The influence of this group led him through a regeneration process that changed his life for a more active service for God.

As a result he began to write a newsletter as a simple form of encouragement. More and more people began to request being added to his mailing list. God nudged him again to start a blog.

Believing many more would be blessed by his writing he started The Daily Dose - Daily inspiration from God's Word. Bradley is well known as a Barnabas in Christian communities on WordPress and in other venues.

Bradley and his wife, Michelle, share life together in Texas with their four children and two grandsons.
