I Woke Up To Sad News

We Are So Thakful For You!

6 min read

As the title says, I woke up to sad news this morning.  We lost a wonderful writer. Tom Swartzwelder has written devotions for Christian Grandfather for some time now. He blessed so many of us with his straightforward encouragement to keep our eyes on our calling, the race, the goal, and especially Jesus.

His family notified many of us with a simple and profound statement:

On September 3, 2024 Tom completed the race God had set before him. He is now with Jesus, the author and finisher of his faith.

Through his written devotions we were privileged to view a small glimpse of Tom’s heart for God, and his love of others.

Please keep Tom’s family and friends in your prayers as they navigate their loss and path forward.

Thank you, Brother, for loving the Lord and sharing your love with us! We will miss you, and look forward to seeing you again in heaven!

Andy
