I Don’t Know What You Are Suffering Under
Beloved, I don’t know what you are suffering under. But here’s what I do know, God hears your groaning in pain and prayer. He hears your cries for help and relief. And just as He knew about the groaning of the enslaved Israelites, He knows about what is pressing down on you. As Peter reminds us in 1 Peter 5:6-7, if you will humble yourself before Him, in His proper time, He will exalt you…therefore you can cast all your cares and anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
Dear sister or brother, do not be discouraged because this is a difficult time for you. Be encouraged because God is available and will draw nearer to you as you draw nearer to Him. Stay in His presence, trust in His goodness, consciously abide in His peace, remember His faithfulness, and know that His timing is perfect for you to be brought to a place of greater effectiveness for His Kingdom.
