How does the Word of God define the justification received through faith in Christ?
Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
Romans 5:9 “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.”
Romans 8:30 “Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”
Why?
Galatians 3:24 “So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
The purpose being:
John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My Word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”
Titus 3:7 “That having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
Do I understand that true faith in Christ implies that I must not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit, and as such live to follow Christ as Lord into eternal life?”
