As we celebrate our freedom and proclaim, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, let’s give God the honor due to Him for the privilege we have to live in America, the land of the free.
Let’s remember that by His hands, our nation stands. Every blessing we get is because of His mercy.
As well, we know that this life is but a vapor when compared to eternity that awaits us.
The reason why:
Philippians 3:20, “Our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Additionally, Jesus said:
John 18:36, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Let’s also remember this warning:
1 Peter 2:16, “Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.”
To God belongs all Glory in Christ Jesus.
