Don’t Be Tempted
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13
You would think that once you put your faith in Jesus Christ, the devil would leave you alone, right? Not true. If you are a child of God, the Enemy knows he can’t have your soul, but he still wants to steal your joy and render you ineffective for the Kingdom.
Thankfully, God is with us, not only in Heaven, but right here on earth, talking to us, guiding our steps, encouraging us, warning us, and He has promised to provide a way of escape when we are tempted.
The best advice I can give; take the way out. Falling to temptation is like a self-inflicted wound. Recognize the temptation and run from it as fast as you can!
Bradley Hilton grew up in the church and has always been a believer; it wasn’t until 2000 that he reaffirmed his faith and went all-in for Jesus.
