DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!!! PLEASE DON’T!!

I was reading a verse I never thought about. Read it slow… ”But before long, Samson’s hair began to grow back” Judges 16:22. Remember, Samson got a buzz cut after Delilah betrayed him. He became as weak as Superman holding kryptonite. The enemy poked out his eyes and put him in chains in their circus for laughs. Hopeless? No! His hair grew back. A little stubble grew in the rubble. His eyes didn’t grow back but his mane did. Samson ended up killing more Philistines as a humble, blind man than in his younger glory days.

Your hair can grow back too. Don’t give up. Jesus can restore the days trouble has eaten up. He can rebuild and even use the old stuff for good. Jesus is greater than divorce, heroin, depression, defeat, debt, doubt, disease or unemployment. It is not too late. Your hair can grow again.

If we’re ready to give up on God, then know this that God isn’t ready to give up on us. With everything coming against us in life, God wants us to know that He still has great and wonderful plans for our lives.

We may not sense this reality because of what we’re going through at the moment, or what we’ve been going through for some time. Maybe we have an illness or disease. Maybe we’re financially in trouble, or we’re relationally devastated. But God can still do great things through us.

Consider these words Jesus spoke to the believers in Philadelphia. “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.” (Revelation 3:8)

God has great plans for our lives, plans to prosper us, and to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

May your day be filled with God’s wonderful blessings. Take care and God bless
