SHADE FOR OUR CHILDREN

The question that faces Christian parents and grandparents today is whether we can plant some trees that will shade future generations from what may well be the blistering heat of anti-Christian values in an anti-Christian world.

“TIME TO CHILL”

Chilling out may be needed more than many other things found within the church and within a Christian’s life. This is especially evident as division runs rampant, and where the pandemic has pitted Christians against each other over politics and social events. How do we stay calm?

A Verse That Exposes My Weakness

Ultimately, how much do you really love Jesus? Do you love Him enough to die for Him? This should be one of your most fervent prayers. “Lord,” I pray, “please give me a love for You which would inspire me to gladly and willingly die for you should the circumstances arise.” How far are you from it in your walk?

The Day The Rock Moved

Bruce shares a testimony of a time, before he knew God, when fear and trepidation took hold of his thoughts to the point he was going to die; he needed to find that one thing that would save him.

IT HASN’T HAPPENED . . . YET!

When God makes a promise, He is faithful to keep His promise. He doesn’t need our help. We only need to wait on “His” timing. He has a purpose behind any delay. Are you impatientyl asking why it hasn’t happened yet?

Following God: (Even when I don’t understand Him)

Philip was in Samaria, in the middle of this amazing work of the Holy Spirit. He’s bearing abundant fruit for Jesus. Many are giving their lives to Christ. Suddenly, God sends a message to Philip directing him leave and go to Gaza, a place in the desert. What? Do you think that made any sense to Philip?

THAT’S QADOSH

Isaiah 6:3 states that the whole earth is full of His Glory. “The handiwork of Adonai reveals His presence and bears His signature. For us, the image of God communicates the sense of His holiness and denotes that the essence of man — his spirit — is also to be set apart as sacred and uncommon. In God’s world, as His children, we are not “common or ordinary.”

The Older I Get

The older that I get, the more and more I come to appreciate and take confidence in the wisdom and assurance that is written within God’s Holy Word.
