It’s interesting how the way we mark the passage of time changes. We note birthdays with zeros at the end, and in the past we’ve measured via our children’s progress, then graduation from high school, passage through college, out into the world of work, and then marriage. But “now,” it’s our grandchildren who help us keep time.
Passing On The Legacy
As long as we are obedient in what God gives us, even when we make mistakes, His promises are sure and “will” be accomplished. That is the great hope that we are able to pass down to our children AND grandchildren.

Our Rescuer
The Israelite’s were caught in the grips of slavery to Egypt, and many of them cried out to the God of their fathers and grandfathers for rescue. He heard their pleas and went into action!

Paul knew he would have to give an account of His life to the Lord one day. That thought kept him faithful to the end, even when times were tough, he wanted to finish strong.
THE QUIET HOURS
When I look at our children and grandchildren and ponder what they will remember of me when I am gone, it makes me realize how our area of influence is fleeting and how important it is to give love in every opportunity that presents itself.
