A Chronological Bible Reading

Often, we celebrate Easter simply because it is Easter. We listen to what our pastor teaches from the pulpit and are immensely grateful for the grace provided from the sacrifice of God’s Son.

But how often do we take the time to study Holy Week and all that is involved in the God’s “free” gift of salvation? Have you ever read the scripture for yourself? For those of you who have not, I offer this Easter challenge. Following is a Holy Week Timeline – A Chronological Bible Reading.

Beginning this morning, take a few minutes to read the daily scriptures listed, write them down with an explanation of how each spoke to you. Place them in your heart and prepare for Sunday morning. Celebrate this Easter with a new understanding of God’s Grace through Jesus Christ.
